The big avant-garde jazz ensemble Ping Machine, winner of many awards in France, led by composer and multi-instrumentalist Fred Maurin and released by German label Neuklang will be celebrating their 10th anniversary with five concerts at the Paris venue Studio de l’Ermitage end of September and beginning of October. more

L’Hijaz’Car signature

We are glad to have been able to agree on a collaboration with the French contemporary jazz group with touches of world music, l’Hijaz’Car, released here on the Buda label and very well received internationally. The CD will be released in the US through Allegro shortly.

Mike Westbrook

BBC Jazz on 3 will broadcast extracts (the “Picardie” section) of the legendary Mike & Kate Westbrook London Bridge album on the centenary of the outbreak of the first World War. The group will be performing two extracts from the same album, Blighters and Les Morts in their concert in Lille/France at the Pianos Festival on Friday 13th June.
